Effective Date: November 28, 2025

SUYOO Tech ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Cleanvid website and services (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your personal data and uploaded content.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use the Service. This Policy is prepared with reference to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of the Laws of Hong Kong ("PDPO"). If you use the Service from outside Hong Kong, your information may be processed in jurisdictions with different data protection rules.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that is necessary to provide and operate the Service (including video watermark removal, object removal, and video enhancement).

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: When you register or sign in, we collect information such as your email address and authentication-related identifiers (for example, login provider identifiers).
  • Transaction information: If you purchase credits or subscriptions, payments are processed by third-party payment processors (for example, Stripe). We do not store your full credit card number or bank account details.
  • User Content: Video files and related metadata you upload to the Service for processing.
  • Support communications: If you contact support, we will collect the information you provide in your message and any attachments you choose to share.

1.2 Information Automatically Collected

  • Technical data: We collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location (derived from IP), access times, and basic usage logs. This data is used for service operation, security, analytics, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies (or similar technologies) to maintain your login session, security settings, and preferences.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Process transactions, manage credits/subscriptions, and provide receipts or invoices.
  • Communicate with you about your account and the Service (for example, security alerts, passwordless login emails, or transactional notices).
  • Prevent fraud, detect abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect the security of the Service.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

3. Video Processing & Data Retention (Our Commitments)

We understand that your videos may contain sensitive information. We apply the following principles to User Content.

3.1 Purpose of Processing

Your uploaded videos are used solely to fulfill your request and provide the Service (for example, watermark removal, object removal, and enhancement) and to make the processed result available for you to download.

3.2 No AI Training

We do not use your User Content or processed outputs to train, fine-tune, or improve our AI models.

3.3 Data Retention Policy

  • Retention window: Your original uploads and processed outputs are retained for up to 24 hours to provide the Service and enable downloads.
  • Deletion: After 24 hours, files are scheduled for deletion. Deletion may not be immediate in all cases (for example, due to queued jobs, backups, or incident recovery processes), but we will delete within a reasonable period.
  • Operational records: We may retain limited technical logs, billing records, and account records for longer periods as required for security, fraud prevention, customer support, legal compliance, and dispute resolution. Such records generally do not include your full video files.

3.4 Access Control

Our employees do not view your User Content as a routine practice. Access may occur only when:

  • You explicitly request technical support for a specific file and provide us with sufficient details; or
  • We are compelled to do so by law; or
  • It is reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, or incident response.

4. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share information only in the following circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We use trusted third-party service providers to help us operate the Service (for example, cloud infrastructure, authentication, payment processing, email delivery, and security monitoring). These providers are authorized to process information only as necessary to provide services to us and are subject to contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SUYOO Tech, our users, or others.

4.3 Business Transfers

If SUYOO Tech is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice where required by applicable law.

5. Data Storage and International Transfers

Your information, including personal data and User Content, may be transferred to and processed in countries or regions different from where you live. Regardless of where processing occurs, we implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your information.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, such as encryption in transit (for example, SSL/TLS) and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Strictly necessary purposes: login sessions, security, and basic Service functionality.
  • Preferences: remembering settings such as UI preferences.
  • Analytics and troubleshooting: understanding usage patterns and diagnosing issues (where enabled).

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Service functionality.

  • Check whether we hold personal data about you and request access to such data.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to legal and operational requirements.

To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 10.
